SeekingAlpha have published AMD Q1-2015 earning call transcript, in that (AMD) CEO Lisa Su have “leaked” out that Windows 10 release at end of the July.

What we also are factoring in is, you know, with the Windows 10 launch at the end of July, we are watching sort of the impact of that on the back-to-school season, and expect that it might have a bit of a delay to the normal back-to-school season inventory build-up.

She used the world “launch”, and we know she meant release, but whatever it is called, Windows 10 will available to consumers “at end of July”. It is not official, but we can consider it sub-official.

Some argue that might be RTM date. Many sources had reported that Microsoft are targeting RTM in June.

The date is not a surprise to me (read this, and this), important thing to me: Will HoloLens release at the same time? I still tend to think so. I want to draw the NASA reference again. If NASA is going to use HoloLens in July, Windows 10 has to be released before that, which is proved to be true (almost), but they don’t just let NASA use it, let everybody else wait. The logical things are in this sequence: They will release Windows 10, then release the HoloLens, then announce the NASA event. Maybe all at the same time.

Most interesting questions are: Will Windows 10 Mobile release the same time? What about Lumia 940? What about Surface Pro 4? Lets keep guessing.
